The Noir

  • Reputation |
A club well known for extravagance and debauchery, and an excess of decadence. Four star chefs prepare the food while bartenders from all over the world blend drinks delivered by gorgeous men and women in ornate and expensive costumes. There are rumors of prostitution and drug availability at their parties, in addition to darker rumors of human bondage and worse, but no claims have ever been able to stick.
  • Getting In |
If you aren’t a member, getting to the door requires passing a metal detector and dealing with the icy stare of the bouncer; most nights Oleg Zevrikov can be found occupying the door. In addition, the cover charge for getting in is $50, and that comes with a two drink minimum, passed to some manner of maitre’d in the antechamber before the main doors open.
    • Dress Code
Guests of the Noir are expected to wear clean clothes, and not to be sporting trash chic or any Jersey Shore affectations. Suit and tie aren’t required though they are common, but one cannot look slovenly if they want in.
    • Behavior
Respect for the staff at all times means no insults or inappropriate touching unless given the go-ahead. Respect for the owner, Yvette Rivard, is a requirement at all times.
  • Membership | 1 point Merit; +1 to Social rolls made in the Noir
Membership requires a great deal of presence, and is almost exclusively done by invitation. One does not simply want to be a member, they must be chosen by Ms. Rivard and her advisors before they are even to begin the screening process.
    • Dress Code
Members of the Noir are permitted to dress how they like while visiting the club, and have a special entrance from the private garage.
